Lane Michael Stanley

Lane Michael Stanley (Writer/Director) is a transgender director, playwright, filmmaker, and producer, and the co-founder of Secretly Famous Productions, along with Lowell Blank. Their films include their award-winning debut feature film ADDICT NAMED HAL (2022; Austin Film Festival, Santa Barbara International Film Festival); their upcoming second feature T (currently in post-production after being filmed incrementally over the lead actor’s first two years on Testosterone); their short films UNTIE (Outfest), PROMISE (American Dance Festival, Dance Camera West), and BOIFRIEND (Reeling, Sidewalk Film Festival, co-directed with Rebecca Marquardt); and their upcoming documentary QUENTIN BLUE (Winner, Film Fund Pitch Competition). They have been a commissioned artist and/or fellow with Lambda Literary, Ground Floor Theatre, and Art with Impact, and hold an MFA from the University of Texas at Austin. Lowell Blank

Lowell Blank (Producer) has over thirty years’ experience in all aspects of the motion picture business, serving as a producer and executive on both Hollywood studio films and independent features, documentaries and commercials. Blank was President of Director Andrew Davis' Chicago Pacific Entertainment from 1995-2003. He is the co-founder of Secretly Famous Productions, along with Lane Michael Stanley. Blank has served in various producing capacities on feature films including ADDICT NAMED HAL, QUENTIN BLUE, THE GUARDIAN, HOLES, and many others. Blank holds a BA in Film & Television from San Diego State University and an MFA in Writing & Contemporary Media from Antioch University, Santa Barbara.  He has served as a mentor to the Santa Barbara International Film Festival’s 10/10/10 shorts program as well as teaching under-graduate and graduate level workshops.
